Description

NGC 7635, also known as the Bubble Nebula, is an H II region emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia, about 11,000 light-years away from Earth. The "bubble" is created by the stellar wind from a massive hot, 8.7 magnitude young central star.  (Source: Wikipedia)

I sold some of my gear last year and got myself an 8" Ritchey-Chretien telescope, along with the ASI294MM Pro. After the expected struggle with collimation and an abnormal streak of cloudy nights, I've managed to collect enough data to call this my first light. This was taken over several nights during December 2021 and January 2022.

Happy new year everyone, clear skies and stay safe!
